The beautiful thing about original art is that it is full of character and contains evidence that it was handmade with love. This means that your piece may have splatters, bleeds, splotches, or even dirt marks that occurred throughout the process of painting, developing, and rinsing each cyanotype. These “blemishes” add to the character of each piece, tell the story of its creation, and remind you and the viewer that there is no other piece quite like it! Additionally, due to the nature of pieces being hand torn and/or thoroughly soaked in water, the final measurements of your piece may slightly vary from the standard sizing shown on each listing. It is advisable to bring your piece with you when framing to accurately determine the necessary sizes of your mat and/or frame.
